(A) (1) The owner or agent of a building or premises in or upon which a violation of any provisions of this chapter has been committed or shall exist, or lessee or tenant of an entire building or entire premises, in or upon which such violation shall exist, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Each and every day that such violation continues after notification shall constitute a separate offense.
(2) Nothing herein contained shall prevent the city from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
(B) (1) Violation of the provisions of § 153.057 or failure to comply with any of its requirements (including violations of conditions and safeguards established in connection with grants of variances or special exceptions) shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any person who violates § 153.057 or fails to comply with any of its requirements, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than $250 and, in addition, shall pay all costs and expenses involved in the case. Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
(2) Nothing herein contained shall prevent the city or other appropriate authority from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
