(A) No open burning or open fires shall be allowed or permitted within the corporate limits of the city and shall include all burning, with the exception of controlled burning within an enclosed building in structures commonly referred to as fireplaces or stoves.
(B) The Fire Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department may grant individual or general permits to allow open burning for a specific date or dates; said permits shall be issued by him or her in his or her sole discretion.
