As outlined in Minn. Stat. § 617.242 Subd. 3, because an existing sexually-oriented establishment is located within 50 miles, the City is not required to provide zoning for a location within the City limits in which a sexually-oriented establishment may be located. Pursuant to the authority granted in Minn. Stat. § 617.242 Subd. 3, the City Zoning Ordinance therefore prohibits sexually-oriented establishments in any zoning district within the City.
