§ 91.04 PREVENTING SPREAD OF RABIES.
   Whenever a case of rabies has occurred within the village or surrounding locality, or when the village’s Board of Trustees is apprehensive of the spread of rabies, the Village Board may take the following steps to prevent its spread among dogs and cats:
   (A)   Require that all dogs or other animals be confirmed within an enclosure;
   (B)   Require that owners of dogs or other animals take such prophylactic measures, as he or she deems necessary to prevent the spread of rabies; and
   (C)   Determine the area and time during which the preventive measures of divisions (A) and (B) above shall be effective.
