The Superintendent of Public Works shall be subject to the supervision of the Committee on Water and Sewer and shall be known as the “Public Works Superintendent”. He or she shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Village Board, and shall hold office until his or her successor shall be appointed and qualified. He or she shall receive such salary as may be provided for by the Village Board. The Superintendent shall be known as the Superintendent of Water and the Superintendent of Sewer.
