Every taxicab owner shall maintain a daily master log upon which are recorded all trips made each day, showing time and place of origin and destination of each trip and amount of fare. The forms for the master log shall be furnished by the owner and shall be in a form approved by the Chief of Police, or his or her designate. Every owner shall retain and preserve master logs for 12 months. The master logs shall be available for inspection by the City Police Department.
