§ 37.09 CAUSES OF FIRES.
   It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department to investigate the cause of any accidental or destructive fires occurring in the city; and in case there is reason to suspect that there was any criminal act or violation of a city ordinance in connection therewith he or she shall report the same to the City Attorney.
