Every person issued a permit hereunder shall carry a permit or a true copy thereof at all times, which shall also serve as an identification card. Each permit shall bear a number, the solicitor’s name, his or her firm or employer, the type of merchandise to be sold and the date of issuance of the permit. When personal contact is made, the card shall be voluntarily displayed as an introduction to the proposed buyer.
