§ 97.09 CARBURETOR FLAME ARRESTORS AND BACKFIRE TRAPS.

Every motor boat covered by this subchapter shall have the carburetor or carburetors of every engine therein (except outboard motors) using gasoline as fuel equipped with an approved device which has demonstrated its ability to arrest backfire.
