§ 33.01 ELECTION.
   The City Clerk shall be elected and serve for a four-year term and until a successor is elected and qualified as provided by statute. The term of office for an elected City Clerk shall commence on the first regular meeting in the month following the person’s election.

§ 33.02 BOND.
   Before entering upon the duties of the office, the City Clerk shall execute a bond in an amount and with sureties as may be required by the Council, conditioned upon the faithful performance the duties of the office as required by law.
