All hydrants shall be installed according to Utilities Department specifications. The consumer is required to pay for the main tap service connection, valves, fitting, pipe, fire hydrant and the installation of the same. In other words, the entire cost, material and labor is to be borne by the consumer. The customer or customers shall also be responsible for the cost of repair and maintenance of all hydrants.
