(A) Within 90 days following the date for final compliance of an existing significant industrial user with applicable pretreatment standards and requirements set forth in this chapter, in federal categorical standards, or in a wastewater discharge permit, or, in the case of a new source or a new user considered by the city to fit the definition of SIU, within 90 days following commencement of the introduction of wastewater into the POTW, the affected user shall submit to the city a report containing the information outlined in of § 51.174(D) through (F).
(B) When the limits in a categorical pretreatment standard are expressed only in terms of mass pollutant per unit of production, the city may convert limits to equivalent limitations expressed either as mass of pollutant discharged per day or effluent concentration for purposed of calculating effluent limitations applicable to individual industrial users. Significant industrial users must submit reports to the city with long term production rates as well as production during the appropriate sampling period.
