The subdivision shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal drainage and storm water management laws, rules and regulations. The developer shall submit with the plat all topographical and profile studies required by Section 2 of the Illinois Plat Act. Detention and retention facilities designed to manage stormwater for a property shall not be separated from the ownership of the property that drains into the stormwater facilities unless an alternative stormwater management plan is approved by the Director of Utilities and Engineering.
