Except in those cases where a zoning map amendment is requested by the city, a fee of $300 shall be paid to the city to defray the cost of the administration, publishing, posting notices of the proposed amendment and the cost of maintaining a record of the public hearing. The fee shall be paid to the Department of Planning and Development.
