§ 154.083 FLOOD CONTROL FACILITIES.
   (A)   The minimum facilities for the control of floodwaters crossing, flowing into, or falling upon a subdivision shall be designed on a basis of a 100-year storm of two hours duration.
   (B)   The Town Engineer shall approve flood control facilities design.
   (C)   Streets and highways shall not be used as flood channels without approval of the Town Engineer.
   (D)   The use of streets and highways for tract drainage purposes may be prohibited by the Public Works Director if, in his or her opinion, said use is impractical or not in the interests of public health and safety.
   (E)   Flood hazard areas shall incorporate methods and provisions to reduce flood losses as required in Chapter 153.
