Employees or elected officials of the town who find or otherwise come into possession of lost, abandoned or stolen property shall not claim any right title or interest in the personal property. Any and all lost, abandoned or stolen personal property found or otherwise coming into possession of a town employee or elected official shall be relinquished to custody of the town’s Police Department.
