§ 33.021 FIRE DEPARTMENT DUTIES.
   It is the duty of the Fire Department, among others, to:
   (A)   Extinguish fires;
   (B)   Rescue persons endangered by fire;
   (C)   Resuscitate and administer first aid to persons injured in or about burning structures, or elsewhere in the case of an emergency;
   (D)   Promote fire prevention; and
   (E)   Unless otherwise provided, enforce all ordinances relating to fires, fire prevention and the safety of persons from fire in public and private buildings.
