§ 114.06 PLUMBER LICENCE AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   License required. Any plumber, plumber’s helper, apprentice or other person performing work for the plumber shall be licensed as required by the state.
   (B)   Registration required.
      (1)   No person, as a plumbing contractor, journeyperson plumber or apprentice, shall make any connections to the town water system or plumbing in the town without first registering with the town.
      (2)   Each person so registering shall present his or her state license to the Plumbing Inspector. The registration fee for any plumbing contractor shall be $10, which permit is current for one year from the date of its issuance. The registration fee for journeypeople and assistants shall be $5 for the one-year permit.
   (C)   Registration certificate issuance. The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a certificate of registration to each person registering as required by this chapter upon compliance by such person with all applicable provisions of this chapter.
   (D)   Display of certificate. It shall be the duty of every person doing work as a plumber in the town or making any connection to the town water or sanitary sewer system to show the certificate of registration on demand to any Plumbing Inspector or police officer who shall ask to see the same.
