§ 94.12 HOOFED ANIMALS IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS RESTRICTED.
   (A)   Purpose. This section is to regulate the keeping of livestock on small lots in residential areas inside of town limits.
   (B)   Definition. For the purpose of this section, the following definition applies unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
      LIVESTOCK. Includes any hoofed animals or listed animals, such as cattle, bison, swine, llamas, camels, horses, ponies, donkeys, mules and any other hoofed animals.
   (C)   Prohibition. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, harbor or maintain care, custody or control over any hoofed animals, or livestock, anyplace inside the town limits. This shall not prohibit hoofed animals from being transported expeditiously through the town.
   (D)   Animals present before prohibition, requirements.
      (1)   Any resident who had hoofed animals, or livestock, at the time this section went into effect shall have been notified and must have registered the animals in their possession at that time.
      (2)   Livestock may not be replaced. As property owners remove, sell or adopt the current animals, or the like, they may not be replaced with other livestock inside the town limits.
