§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Unless otherwise provided, any violations of the provisions of this traffic code shall be punishable as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code.

   (B)   An owner or operator who fails to produce for inspection a valid and current security verification form or equivalent form which has been issued by the Department upon the request of any peace officer of the Department as per § 70.03 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code.

   (C)   Any person failing to stop or to comply with any of the requirements of § 70.04 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code.

   (D)   Any person, association, corporation, copartnership, firm or entity who violates any of the provisions of § 70.20 of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an offense, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100 plus court costs and fees.

   (E)   (1)   The fine and court costs for violating the provisions of § 70.21(A) of this chapter shall not exceed $20.
      (2)   Any person convicted of violating § 70.21(B)(2) or (B)(3) of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of $50 and shall pay all court costs thereof. This fine shall be suspended and the court costs limited to a maximum of $15 in the case of a first offense upon proof of purchase or acquisition by loan of a child passenger restraint system, provided that the State Department of Public Safety shall not assess points to the driving record of any person convicted of a violation of § 70.21(B)(2) or (B)(3) of this chapter.
