§ 54.44 ABATEMENT OR DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE WITH DEFECTIVE INSTALLATION.
   (A)   Upon any inspection, if the Commission finds any part of any electrical wiring or apparatus to be in a defective or dangerous condition, then it shall notify the owner or occupant of the premises in writing to have the defect corrected within such time as the Commission shall deem necessary.
   (B)   If the owner or occupant refuses or fails to comply with the requirements of the Commission or to correct all defects as directed within the specific time, then it shall be the duty of the Commission to notify the utility furnishing the electrical current to such defective wiring or apparatus. Upon receipt of such notice, the utility shall immediately disconnect the service or fee wiring as directed by the Commission until notified in writing by the Commission that the defects have been corrected.
