§ 54.24 FAILURE TO COMMENCE OR SUSPENSION OF WORK AFTER ISSUANCE.
   (A)   If any work authorized by permit under this subchapter is not commenced within 30 days after the date thereon, such permit shall expire and shall thereafter be void. In such a case, before such work is commenced, a new permit shall be obtained as if for the first time.
   (B)   Any work once started under such permit shall not suspend except for some unavoidable cause, and in such a case, a statement of the facts shall be made in writing giving the date the work is to begin, and such statement shall be filed in the office of the Commission.
