(A) Compliance with local and state requirements.
(1) The connection of a building sewer into the public sewer shall conform to the requirements of the town’s building and plumbing codes and other applicable rules and regulations of the town.
(2) All new sewer lines will be constructed in accordance with the State Health Department’s construction and plumbing codes.
(3) All new sanitary sewage works shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the requirements of the State Department of Health Regulations.
(B) Mandatory connection when available. When a public sewer becomes available within 150 feet, the building sewer shall be connected to the sewer within 60 days.
