§ 10.10 SEVERABILITY.
   If any section, division, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this town code or any part hereof, any portion adopted by reference or any code or portion of codes adopted herein is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid or ineffective by any court of competent jurisdiction, then such decision shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the remaining portions of this code or any part hereof, any portion adopted by reference or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein. The Board of Trustees hereby declares that it would have passed each section, division, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase hereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, divisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional, invalid or ineffective.
