§ 37.03 POLICY; ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT SERVICES REQUIRED.
   (A)   Putnam County, Indiana hereby mandates advanced life support (ALS) with a minimum crew of one EMT-basic and one EMT-paramedic as the minimum standard of care for all 911 ambulance calls and emergency ambulance transports arising in Putnam County, Indiana and shall bill accordingly at an ALS or BLS level. The provisions of this division shall apply to all services provided by PCEMS and to other mutual aid ambulance providers answering emergency 911 calls within the county limits.
   (B)   Exceptions to the provision of the ALS requirement for all PCEMS ambulances may be made only in the case of a disaster, public health emergency, or special event/stand-by regulations that do not require an advanced level of care.
