Normal maintenance of a nonconforming building or a building containing a nonconforming use is permitted, including necessary non-structural repairs which do not tend to prolong the life of supporting members of a building, or structure, such as bearing walls, columns, beams or girders. Incidental alterations are permitted which do not extend or intensify the nonconforming building or the nonconforming use.
