In addition, the Village Council may order health and safety inspections at any time that there is reasonable cause to believe that an unsanitary, unsafe, or hazardous condition exists on the premises. The Village Administrator shall notify the appropriate authorities or agencies to make such inspections at the designated times. Written reports of inspections shall be filed with the Village Administrator.
(b) Village personnel or agents may at all reasonable times inspect licensed premises to ensure continued compliance with the laws of Ohio and this chapter.
(c) At any time there is reasonable cause to do so, the Village Council may order a background investigation, including the criminal record, if any, of any licensee, person named in a license application, or employee of a licensee. Written reports of such investigations shall be filed with the Village Administrator.
(d) Every month after issuance of a license as a masseur or masseuse, the licensee shall undergo a physical examination by a physician licensed to practice in Ohio to determine that the licensee remains free of communicable diseases. The Village Council may also order a licensee to undergo a physical examination at any time there is reasonable cause to believe the licensee has a communicable disease. The Village Administrator shall notify the licensee when an examination is ordered, but no notice is required for the periodic monthly exam. The licensee is responsible for obtaining such examination. The physician's report shall be filed with the Village Administrator.
