A license shall not be valid beyond the expiration date therein specified and, unless otherwise provided, shall not extend beyond April 30 of the year subsequent to issuance. At any time after December 14 of any year, a business license may be issued for the ensuing calendar year. Annual renewal of a license granted under this chapter is required on or before the third Monday in April of a given year. The full annual fee will be required of a licensee irrespective of the date of issue of the license.
