278.03 TERM OF OFFICE.

The term of a Tree Commissioner shall be for three years. In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term of any member, his or her successor shall be appointed for the remainder of the term by the Mayor with the approval of Council. A member of the Commission may be appointed for more than one term.
