(a) The Village of Put-in-Bay shall join with the Township of Put-in-Bay in the formation of a joint fire district pursuant to Ohio R.C. 505.371.
(b) In consideration of the improved fire protection to be furnished by the Township through the joint fire district to the Village of Put-in-Bay, the Village of Put-in-Bay hereby authorizes the joint fire district to use the fire-fighting equipment presently owned by said Village.
