The Council of the Village, by a three-fourths majority vote, may suspend any and all sections of this chapter due to special events, emergencies or extenuating circumstances when, in the judgment of Council, it deems it necessary to do so. The suspension shall continue for a maximum of 30 days, unless a shorter period of time is so stated by an appropriate motion of Council.
