230.05 PROTEST AGAINST EXCESS OF EXPENDITURES.

If, in the opinion of the Mayor, an expenditure, authorized by Council, exceeds the revenues of the Village for the current year, he or she shall protest against such expenditure, and enter such protest, and the reason therefor, on the journal of Council.
