Discharge units having sanitary water shall be connected to a Village sanitary sewer, if the foundation of the discharge unit is within 200 feet of the sanitary sewer, and said discharge unit's property line abuts a street where the sanitary sewer is located.
If a sanitary sewer is not available within 200 feet of the foundation, the discharge unit shall be connected to a combined sewer or an approved individual sewage treatment system. In either such event, the connection shall be watertight from the discharge unit to the sewer.
