The Police Department and the Fire Department shall be notified at least 12 hours in advance of the initiation of any project. The permittee shall provide necessary barricades around excavations, trenches, etc., along with proper traffic signage and appropriate lighting during the night for public protection. All barricades, signage, traffic control devices, and lighting shall conform with the standards adopted by the Ohio Department of Transportation's Manual of Traffic Control for Construction and Maintenance Operations or similar standards in effect at the time.
