868.01 TROLLEY-SHUTTLE VEHICLE DEFINED.
   "Trolley-shuttle vehicle (trolley)" means any vehicle not exceeding 84 inches in width and 21 feet in length used to carry not more than 15 passengers, that seeks its business or part thereof on public streets or in quasi-public places, and which is operated on the streets of the Village for the purpose of transporting members of the general public under expectation of compensation or reward in any form, which vehicle is operated over a fixed route and on a regular schedule, regardless of whether passengers are present for pick-up or not. These vehicles will comply with the licensing requirements established in Chapter 858 for trolleys, and the licensing requirements established in this Chapter 868.
