(A) Reclaim fees for animals reclaimed, pursuant to this chapter, shall be as follows:
(1) The person owning any animal shall pay a $15 fee for the first reclaim of any animal from the animal shelter. This would be a stray, non-biter;
(2) The person owning any animal shall pay a $20 fee for each subsequent reclaim of any animal within one year from the animal shelter. This would be a stray, non-biter;
(3) The County Board of Commissioners shall pay a $10 fee for each abandoned animal taken to the animal control shelter. This would be a stray, non-biter;
(4) Only county residents can drop off an animal;
(5) There will be a flat fee of $50 for quarantine and boarding of an animal that has bitten someone; and
(6) There will be a fee of $15 for the first adult stray to be brought into the shelter. For each additional adult stray brought in by said person, there will be a $5 charge. Litters under eight weeks will have a $15 fee per litter.
(B) All fees are to be paid at the animal shelter. This is to be done when the animal, or animals, are dropped off.
