§ 51.01  COUNTY’S BOARD OF HEALTH.
   All rights, duties, powers privileges and responsibilities imposed by law upon local boards of health within the town limits are of no force and effect and, by law, the direction, control and supervision of health and matters pertaining to health are vested in the county’s Board of Health.  The town shall continue to bear the expense which may be incurred in correcting and abating nuisances, maintaining the water supplies, and sewage disposal plants and other recognized and approved activities for the prevention of disease and the promotion of public health; and the authority of the town’s committee or commission in charge of the water and sewer systems shall have the necessary powers and rights to carry out its duties.
