§ 31.03  TOWN ATTORNEY.
   (A)   There is hereby established the position of Town Attorney, who shall be appointed by the Town Council for a 2-year term.
   (B)   (1)   The Town Attorney shall have such powers and perform such duties as may be granted to him or her, imposed upon him or her or required of him or her by the Town Council.
      (2)   These shall include advice on all legal matters before the Council.
   (C)   The Town Attorney shall be compensated  annually in an amount as determined by the Town Council.
   (D)   The Town Attorney shall attend all regular and special meetings of Council unless specifically excused by the Mayor.
