There is hereby adopted by the Town, for the purpose of regulating building in the Town, the current edition of the code known as the International Building Code to include Appendix G. The Code is published separately in book form and is adopted by reference, as though it were copied fully herein, saving and excepting therefrom those sections specifically referenced as being amended or modified. The codes and standards referenced in the International Building Code shall be considered part of the requirements of the code. Those included are: Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities; ICC Electrical Code, International Energy Conservation Code, International Fire Code, International Fuel Gas Code, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, International Maintenance Code, and International Residential Code to include Appendix E. A file of record of this code is maintained in the Planning Department. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the International Building Code adopted by this section and other applicable provisions of the Code, state law or town ordinance, rules or regulations shall prevail and be controlling.
