A. Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of, any of the provisions of this title shall be fined as provided in title 1, chapter 4 of this code.
B. In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this title, or if any sidewalk, parkway, curbing or street is obstructed, broken, repaired or altered in violation of this title, the proper authorities of the city, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceeding to prevent such unlawful erection, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use to restrain, correct or abate such violation, to prevent the occupancy of such building, structure or land, or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such premises.
