The Illinois Vehicle Code, 625 ILCS 5/1-100 et seq. as passed, approved and amended is hereby adopted by the city of Princeton as if fully set out herein; the provisions shall therefore be controlling within the corporate limits of the city of Princeton. In the event of any inconsistency between any provision of this title and any provision of the Illinois vehicle code, the terms of this title shall apply.
