The city hereby adopts the Illinois pyrotechnic use act, being 425 ILCS 35/0.01 et seq., in its entirety with the exceptions that the requirements for consumer display under section 2.2 of the act shall be the same as those for a pyrotechnic display under section 2.1 of the act and that section 5 assessing penalties for violation of the same is deleted and the penalty shall be as set forth in this chapter.
