3-1-24: EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF BUSINESS:
In all cases where, in the opinion of the mayor, the public peace is likely to be endangered by the keeping open of premises licensed under this chapter, the mayor may issue his or her proclamation, under the seal of the city, commanding and enjoining all persons licensed hereunder and their servants and agents to close their shops and places and to sell, give away or suffer to be drawn no alcoholic liquors in or about their premises during the time mentioned in such proclamation.
