Each license issued under this chapter shall terminate at midnight on the April 30 following the date of issuance. If an application is made for the issuance of a license after April 30, but prior to November 1, the fee to be paid shall be the same as if the license is issued May 1. If an application is made for the issuance of a license November 1 or thereafter, only half of the annual fee shall be paid.
