2-1-4: OATH AND BOND:
Each member of the board of fire and police commissioners shall take an oath or affirmation of office and shall execute and deliver to the city a bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), with such sureties as the city council shall approve, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his or her office.
