(A) No person shall make connection of roof downspouts, foundation drains, areaway drains, sump pumps, basement or yard drains, or other sources of surface runoff or groundwater to a building sewer which in turn is connected directly or indirectly to a public sanitary sewer.
(B) Any such connection to a private sewage disposal system which existed prior to the availability of public sewers shall be removed from the building sewer prior to connection with the public sewer.
