The letters and numbers on the mailbox must all be in compliance with U.S. Postal Service regulations and recommendations. The lettering shall be in contrast to its background. The address shall be placed on both sides of the mailbox, when possible. The letters and numbers placed on structure shall be at least three inches in height. The letters and numbers shall be placed on the mail level in a location which faces the street upon which it is addressed.
