A. Hunting Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person (except as herein specified) to chase, pursue, capture, trap, hunt, kill or attempt any of the foregoing, any bird or wildlife within the city limits including animals which have been classified by the Idaho department of fish and game as predatory.
B. Exceptions: Nothing herein contained shall be considered to prohibit:
1. Fishing within any waters located within the city, lawfully open to fishing by any method approved by the Idaho department of fish and game.
2. Any person within the city from using reasonable force against any bird or animal for purposes of self-defense.
3. Any duly commissioned law enforcement officer of the state or any officer of the Idaho department of fish and game from performing their duties as such officer.
C. Penalty: Any person convicted of violation of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished according to the provisions of the general penalty in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 563, 4-21-2014)
