No person, whether as owner or keeper of any animal, shall:
A. Food, Water And Shelter: Fail to provide his animal(s) with sufficient food, water and proper shelter and, when required, adequate veterinary care.
B. Abuse: Beat, torment, restrictively chain, overwork or otherwise abuse any animal.
C. Abandonment: Abandon any animal.
D. Leaving In Vehicles: Leave unattended any animal within the confines of a vehicle when temperatures are such that the animal would be susceptible to harm. (Ord. 563, 4-21-2014)
