As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
BUSINESS: Any employment, occupation or commercial activity engaged in for the purpose of realizing gain or for livelihood that is operated, conducted, located, based, or domiciled in the city of Priest River.
BUSINESS REGISTRATION: A registration required under this chapter.
CITY: The city of Priest River.
ENTITY: A corporation, partnership or other legal form, other than an individual, authorized by law to conduct a business, trade or profession that is operated, conducted, located, based, or domiciled in the city.
PROFESSION: A vocation or occupation requiring special education and skill, including, but not limited to, the practice of law, the practice of medicine, the practice of dentistry and the practice of chiropractic that is operated, conducted, located, based, or domiciled in the city.
TRADE: An occupation or activity which a person has learned and which they carry on for the purpose of realizing gain or for livelihood that is operated, conducted, located, based, or domiciled in the city. (Ord. 535, 11-15-2010)
